General Lab Information

Turnaround time is 10 (ten) business days in lab. This excludes weekends and Holidays. The start date of fabrication begins once all components to complete the case have been received. This includes the scans, any models, the lab Rx, the core size, the utilized implant system, desired shade, and whether the order requires a custom abutment or tibase.
Please note: Cases requiring a call from a technician or scheduling department may cause delays to the fabrication process and exceed the 10 business day timeline.

Rush orders are defined as cases required in fewer than 10 business days. All rush orders must receive prior approval before submission. Rush fees are $25 per unit and $150 per arch.

Shipping fees are billed to the customer and will be included on your invoice. We ship via 2-Day Air for $15.00 to ensure timely delivery, and if you need your case sooner, overnight shipping is available at a higher cost based on vendor pricing.

The first full arch STL design is provided at full charge. If a revision is needed, the second set will be completed at no additional cost. A third set of revisions will incur a 50% charge, and any subsequent designs, including a fourth set, will be billed at the full rate.

If a prosthesis failure is determined to be due to defects in materials or workmanship, LDIL will repair or replace the restoration under warranty. A prorated fee, based on the original delivery cost, will apply as follows:
After 1 year: 20% of the original fee
After 2 years: 40% of the original fee
After 3 years: 60% of the original fee
After 4 years: 80% of the original fee
After 5 years: 100% of the original fee (no coverage)
Please note that warranties are from the original invoice date for the case. Warranties do not restart with each remake.
Any adjustments to zirconia restorations should be minimal and performed without generating heat or sparks, and the use of heatless disks is recommended. In the event of a failure, the zirconia must be returned to LDIL for microscopic evaluation to determine the cause and warranty eligibility. This warranty does not cover implant-assisted or implant-supported prostheses due to implant failure, nor does it include implant components, which are subject to the original manufacturer’s warranty.
All repairs or replacements must be completed in-house at LDIL, and any work performed by another laboratory will void this warranty.

By submitting or signing this Rx slip (or an equivalent document) to Louisiana Dental Implant Lab, you acknowledge and agree to the terms and policies outlined below. Invoices are due in full within 30 days of the invoice date, and a 3% monthly finance charge may be applied to any outstanding balances beyond that period. Accounts with unpaid balances at the end of the statement month may be transitioned to C.O.D. status. Please note that a 3% processing fee will be applied to all credit card payments.
